UNO 2019 | Grade IV representing Germany.

The annual school activity for the month of November is the UNO Presentation. The pupils from Kindergarten to Grade VI in public schools will have a one day school activity that celebrates friendship and peace of all people in the world from different countries. Each grade level has assigned country to present with matching traditional costume. It's the time of the year that parents with their students and teacher to research about the tradition, national flag, and customs of the specific country.

With his adviser, Mrs. Rosemarie Fuentes.

This time the Grade IV pupils of Marigondon Elementary School where my son belongs to was assigned to represent the country of Germany. The boy and girl pupils were dressed in German costumes. All the representatives had their "me time" on stage to show and project about what they're wearing to the audience and selected judges. Then after that, they had group dance entitled "Seniorita by Camila Cabello" presentation to perform. While dancing, the judges were busy computing their individual scores to choose the Top 10 of Best in National Costumes. Few minutes after the presentation, the judges announced the Top 10 and Meachel Terrin with sash number 12 was one of them. As his number was being called...I can't figure out his face reaction for sure liking it wasn't among of them. To let him joined the school activity was part of the training to build self confidence at his age. During the activity, some enjoyed while others were irritated especially to those who wore uncomfortable national costumes. The undying support of the parents and teachers to the said school activity can't be compared to other school activities each year. Everyone was enjoying the show.

Congratulations Meachel Terrin and to all participants of UNO 2019.

Rain and Japhet.
